FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the module suitable for use in extreme conditions ?
The module is suitable for outdoor extreme conditions both in high desert temperatures and in cold areas beyond polar circles. Due to its high adaptability to terrain unevenness it can be installed almost anywhere. The module features high resistance to adverse climatic conditions including heavy winds, rains and frost. The thermic insulation works both in high and low temperaturs.
Can any environmental damages occur while installing the module ?
The transportation and manipulation processes unfold in the most considerate way of environmental requirements. Each unit has the height adapting system for safe and secured placement on site. In case of installation on the load sensitive surface a wooden groundwork can be supplied to avoid terrain damages. All liquid fillings are tightly secured so that no leakage can happen. Environmental safety is the first concern and requirement imposed on both production and utilization of the module.
Can the module be installed on a uneven surface ?
Yes, all modules are equipped with height adapting system enabling the correct positionning regardless of any terrain unevenness.
How long does it take to produce a module ?
The standard manufacturing time is 8-12 weeks. In case of more complicated solutions it can take up more time depending on client´s demands. All types and executions are tailor-made according to the client´s specification and with guaranteed quality from design upto the final touch. Due to unique specifications the modules are not produced on stock.
Can the module be internationally transported ?
The module can be produced in the size of standard biggest sea ISO containers and thus be hauled within national and international road, rail and water transports.
Is the module barrier-free ?
Yes, the module is wheel-chair accessible which is part of a standard equipment. In case of utilization by handicapped people the bathroom and the entrance is adapted accordingly. Adapted can also be other parts like modifying the furniture height and others so that the impaired person can comfortably make use of all equipment.
Is the part of a module own restroom ?
In the modules there is always installed full-blown hygienic background including washbowl, shower and toilet. The user can further specify other items and technical equipment.
How are the sewage water and waste processing solved ?
The moduel can be connected to water and sewerage systems. As a standard the module is equipped with fresh drinking and waste water tanks which are filled/emptied. The module can also be equipped with water treatment unit including solar pumps. Recommended are the baskets for recyclable waste.
How about the elctricity connection ?
Depending on installed technological equipment and on the module location several alternatives are possible :
- Battery bank upto 20 kWh capacity
- Solar panels with adjustable tilt for better efficiency
- Vertical wind turbine
- Generating set for light diesel oil, gasoline or LPG
- Grid connection
- The module is equipped with LPG store
Do the power systems provide sufficient volume of energy ?
Solar panels , wind turbine and emergency generator set produce sufficient power for supporting all module needs whereby the rescue modules are fitted with higher power generation capacity. Central control unit takes care of all power management – on/off switching of all power sources and power storage cooperation. The power system is operated in an island mode.
Do I need a permission for placing the module ?
For placing a module on a particular piece of land it is necessary to obtain the owner´s permission. In case of floating modules the house boat is moored on approved anchorage and the mooring is subject to local regulations of a state and place which can differ case by case.
What are the conditions for floating modules operation ?
The modules are operated as floating house boats for temporary or permanent mooring and all conditions are described in navigation rules issued by the country of use.
What kind of certification does an operator of a floating module have to possess ?
Most of EU countries do not require the operator to have the skipper licence even not in case of a small watercraft. Technically, the floating modules are taken as house boats and even in case that they are fitted with own propulsion (outboard engines) possible is only displacement sailing without any planing and with the speed not exceeding 12 km/hour . All the navigation is subject to rules prevailing in countries of use whereby some countries may require the skipper licence while others may not.
Is it possible to remove the module from the float plattform and place it elswhere ?
The module can be easily taken away of plattform and placed on the shore as independent residential module.
Is it possible to operate the float plattform as a watercraft ?
The plattform can be used as a barge or flatboat with its own propulsion. The float steering is provided by remote control and the float is equipped with collapsible loading pads. The loading capacity is abt. 25 metric tons at the draught of abt. 600 mm, i.e. of abt 40-50% of their height. The catamaran dual-hull float system provides the quiet and safe sailing whereby the floats keeping at all times their operational properties are unsinkable.
Are the off-road machines part of the module delivery ?
No, they are not. They will be ordered and supplied as a separate item as per the client´s specification either in wheel or track execution.
How can I order modules and off-road trailers ?
Just send your purchase order and required module and trailer specifications.
